cMail eXpress is a new shareware e-mail client for Windows.
cMail eXpress is a Windows application that can be used as a simple e-mail checker program with multiple notification options, or as a full-blown, highly customizable e-mail client.
Main Features :
- Simple and unique display mode with quick access to e-mail details and related messages. View all your new e-mails from all accounts in one window.
- Backup and restore your accounts with a few clicks. Migrating accounts and messages from one computer to another cannot get any simpler. Auto-archive old messages for a lower memory footprint.
- Spam Shootout. Multiple e-mail messages are displayed with a small preview window and aligned into a shooting range, allowing you to quickly and accurately filter out spam messages with a left click, and approve valid messages with a right-click. Works best with a large number of spam messages.
- Multiple Accounts. cMail eXpress makes managing multiple accounts quick and easy by displaying each account on a tab inside the main window.
- Fast, multi-threaded with a low memory usage. cMail eXpress works great on any computer that runs Windows 98 and up, and also takes full advantage of Windows Vista features.
- Rules and Labels. You can easily configure message rules to highlight specific messages with different colors, or have them separated in categories. Organizing your e-mail messages cannot get any easier, anyone can do it with a few clicks.
- Integrated image viewer (PNG, JPEG, GIF), safe and secure html viewer that prioritizes privacy, spell checking, trusted sender list.
- Supports most internet service provider e-mail accounts as well as some web accounts (GMail, Yahoo bussiness or Plus accounts, etc). Protocols supported: POP3 and SMTP with SSL. (IMAP not supported yet)
- Familiar interface, highly simplified. To get started all you need is your e-mail address and password. cMail eXpress will in most cases auto-detect all connection settings.
- Multiple notification methods. You can configure several ways to get notified when new e-mail arrives: play a sound clip or file, show system tray icon with number of new e-mails, scroll subject(s) in the system tray or launch a custom program. |
